Abstract
The use of wetlands to remediate acid mine drainage was discussed. A study was performed to determine the important factors to consider when employing Acid Reduction Using Microbiology (ARUM). The waters were remediated using microbial methods such as sulphate reducing bacteria. Sampling methodologies for the system were also described.
