This first section provides a description of the site, reviews the history of the mine and describes the scope and objectives of the study. The second and third chapters review the hydrology and water quality of the drainage systems and waterbodies on the site. On the basis of these characteristics, chapter four identifies the key areas requiring attention and sets out a rationale and proposed strategy for dealing with the various areas.
