"A community-based approach to reducing HIV/AIDS infection in the Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve"

Abstract

Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve has long been committed to self-determination in the development of local community services. In light of this commitment, we examine in this report the response of this rural Native community to the HIV/AIDS (human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome) epidemic.
