This study aims to measure two aspects of Canadian libraries concerning the BIBFRAME bibliographic description model and vocabulary: 1) Measuring the level of understanding Canadian libraries currently have of BIBFRAME 2) Measuring how ready Canadian libraries are to transition from the MARC bibliographic format to BIBFRAME. The survey results will inform a list of recommendations for training, education and advocacy for Canadian libraries, as requested by the Canadian Federation of Library Associations-Cataloguing and Metadata Standards Committee (CFLA CMSC).
